I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be returning to London this October for a very special evening of music, storytelling and songs at Crazy Coqs, & back to Los Angeles at the Lyric Hyperion Theatre.
I’ll be bringing An Evening with Shan Ako to London, an intimate acoustic performance celebrating the music, stories and experiences that have shaped my journey over the past few years.
After an incredible chapter performing around the world, from the West End to Sydney, New York and beyond, it feels particularly special to return to London & LA and share something a little more personal.
This won’t be a traditional theatre concert. Instead, expect stripped-back arrangements, live vocals, storytelling and a closer look at the songs behind the artist.
I’ll be sharing music from across my journey, including songs from my previous releases alongside music from my upcoming EP, Acoustic Diaries: Pages & Prayers.
The EP is a collection of intimate songs exploring faith, life and the moments in between. Bringing these songs into a live setting, with just voice, guitar and storytelling, feels like the perfect way to introduce them.
There will also be a few special moments from my theatre journey woven throughout the evening, because so much of who I am as an artist has been shaped by the stages I’ve had the privilege of standing on.
From Hamilton to Les Misérables, from London to Los Angeles, and from theatre to my own music, this evening is a chance to bring all of those worlds together.
Most importantly, I want it to feel like an evening spent together — intimate, honest, musical and full of heart.
So, London & LA… I’m coming home. 🤍
