One of the lovely things about reaching the end of such a significant chapter is having the opportunity to pause, reflect and look back at the journey.
I was recently interviewed by BroadwayWorld about my time as Éponine in Les Misérables. From first stepping into the role in 2019, through the different productions and international tours, to saying goodbye at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
The conversation was a really special opportunity to reflect on what Éponine has meant to me, the incredible places this show has taken me, the people I’ve had the privilege of working alongside, and how my understanding of the character has continued to grow over the years.
We also spoke about the themes of Les Misérables that continue to resonate with me; love, grace, mercy, prayer and hope, and how this chapter of my life has even influenced my own songwriting and my upcoming EP, Acoustic Diaries: Pages and Prayers.
